Annual Meeting 2026

After the successful Annual Meeting in Vienna together with the Austrian Pharmaceutical Society, EUFEPS is pleased to announce that the 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Naples, Italy, from May 27th to 29th, 2026. This year, the meeting will be organized in collaboration with SITELF (Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation), further strengthening the collaboration between leading pharmaceutical scientists across Europe.

With its rich history, vibrant culture, and strategic location in the Mediterranean, Naples offers an exceptional setting for fostering international scientific exchange. Easily accessible by air and rail, the city invites participants to engage not only in high-level scientific discussions but also in the discovery of its unique artistic and gastronomic heritage. We look forward to welcoming scientists from academia, industry, and regulatory bodies, all united by a shared commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences and future medicines.

Continuing the tradition of the Pharmaceutical Sciences European meetings, we are dedicated to offering an engaging and high-quality scientific program. The objective of the Annual Meeting is to connect participants from around the world who are actively engaged in pharmaceutical sciences, fostering the exchange of research, innovative ideas, and best practices. Aligned with the spirit of Naples as a crossroads of cultures and knowledge, our chosen theme for 2026 is “Advances in pharmaceutical sciences”.

The scientific program will span a broad spectrum of topics, encompassing basic and applied research in drug targets, formulation strategies, and enabling technologies for drug development. Alongside keynote and invited speakers, participants will have the opportunity to present their work through poster and oral presentations, selected from submitted abstracts. The meeting will serve as a dynamic platform to stimulate dialogue, partnerships, and multidisciplinary innovation.

A highlight of the conference will once again be the “European PhD Student Competition”, designed to recognize and encourage scientific excellence among the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists.

During the closing ceremony, several prestigious awards will be presented, including the Best Poster Award, the Best Paper Award from the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Woman in Pharmaceutical Sciences (WIPS) Award by EUFEPS, and the EUFEPS Presidential Distinction.
