February 19 - 21 • 2025 • University of Vienna • Austria
After the successful Annual Meeting together with the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Society, EUFEPS is pleased to announce that the 2025 Annual Meeting will be held in Vienna, Austria, between February 19 and 21, 2025. The meeting will be organized in collaboration with the Austrian Pharmaceutical Society (ÖPhG).
For several years, Vienna has maintained its status as the number one congress city in the world, hosting more than 160 international meetings held in 2023. As an international hub, it offers easy accessibility from a multitude of cities through train and air connections. We are eager to welcome scientists from academia, industry and regulatory authorities to Vienna, all of whom we share an interest in the future medicines and the pivotal role of pharmaceutical sciences. We are committed to uphold the tradition of the Pharmaceutical Sciences European meetings series by providing a compelling scientific program.
The objective of the Annual Meeting is to bring people from all over the world together, who are engaged in pharmaceutical sciences, facilitating the exchange of information about scientific experiments, findings, and strategies to enhance communication and collaboration on regional, international, and global levels. Vienna has long served as a pivotal hub for fostering dialogue among diverse geographical regions. Hence, our focus is on the theme “Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Heart of Europe”.
The main track of the meeting will continue through the scientific program covering both basic and applied sciences on drug targets, drug formulation, and drug discovery platform technology. In addition to scientific speakers, scientists from academia and industry will present their research achievements in form of poster presentations, offering the opportunity to initiate fruitful discussions and collaborations. The conference is set to showcase a distinguished lineup of plenary speakers, complemented by a diverse array of session speakers. Oral presentations will be curated from the pool of submitted abstracts. One of the event’s standout features will be the “European PhD Student Competition”, designed to foster and recognize scientific excellence among emerging young scientists. During the closing ceremony, several prestigious awards will be presented, including the Best Poster Award, the Best Paper Award from the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Woman in Pharmaceutical Sciences (WIPS) Award by EUFEPS, and the EUFEPS Presidential Distinction. Additionally, the ÖPhG will acknowledge outstanding Master students from Austrian universities.
Looking forward to meeting you in Vienna on February 19 to 21, 2025.
With best regards,
Prof. Dr. Maria Blanco-Prieto, Prof. Dr. Helmut Viernstein
